Marcus and Martinus Net Worth 2026 Revealed: Eurovision, Tax Lists & Streaming

Marcus and Martinus Net Worth 2026 is unconfirmed — and that is the honest place to start, because no published, reliable figure exists for what the Norwegian twins are worth, as a duo or as individuals. What exists instead is a paper trail: a TV win at ten, three number-one albums as teenagers, a Swedish victory that carried them to the Eurovision final, and the tax lists, which put a hard number on each brother’s 2024 earnings. Marcus & Martinus

The first thing most people get wrong is the flag. Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen are Norwegian, born in Elverum and raised in the small town of Trofors in Nordland, but at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 they sang for Sweden. They had won Sweden’s Melodifestivalen with “Unforgettable”, and as host country Sweden went straight to the final, where the twins opened the show and finished ninth out of twenty-five. Sweden was already their second home; the pandemic move there only made it official. Life in Norway

The tax lists: the only hard numbers

If you want a number you can defend, the tax lists are where it lives. Norwegian press coverage of the Hver gang vi møtes 2026 cast’s tax figures, published on 10 January 2026, reported the twins — then 23, the youngest cast members — topped the show’s income ranking. Each brother earned just over 4.6 million kroner in the 2024 income year, with Marcus ahead of Martinus by only 11,933 kroner. The wealth gap was wider: Marcus was listed with tax-assessed wealth of 5,149,204 kroner, Martinus with 4,943,572 — about 205,000 kroner less. A year earlier: Marcus was listed with 758,848 kroner in income and Martinus with 750,915 — several million less — while their wealth barely moved. In other words, 2024, the Eurovision year, was when the money arrived, for both at almost exactly the same time. Two warnings: these are net figures, after every deduction, so real gross income is often substantially higher; and tax-assessed wealth is not net worth — a fraction of a home and of shares, minus debt. A floor, not a valuation. Norwegian press coverage.

From Trofors to the top of the charts

The twins were born on 21 February 2002 in Elverum — Marcus fifteen minutes before Martinus — and grew up in Trofors, a village in Grane municipality, where their father Kjell-Erik taught school. Their mother Gerd Anne kept the home; younger sister Emma, born in June 2008, later signed to Sony Music Norway; and they have an older half-sister, Silje, on their father’s side. At ten they won Melodi Grand Prix Junior, Norway’s children’s contest, with “To dråper vann”, and the single reached number eight in Norway. One aggregator page names Marte Schei as business manager — reported, not established — and no reliable source says their father managed their career: the verified role is teacher, plus the social accounts. Sony Music Norway signed them at thirteen, and the debut album Hei arrived in February 2015, went to number one in Norway and number two in Sweden, and spent twenty weeks inside the Norwegian top ten. The single “Elektrisk”, released that summer, reached number three at home and became their first entry on the Swedish chart. The second album, Together, released in November 2016, was their first in English, and it debuted at number one in both Norway and Sweden — their first Swedish number one — while lead single “Girls”, featuring Madcon, became their first Norwegian number-one single and earned a Spellemannprisen Song of the Year nomination. Moments followed in November 2017 and did the same again — number one in Norway and Sweden, top three in Denmark and Finland — and at the January 2017 Spellemannprisen ceremony the duo took the night’s biggest honour, Årets Spellemann, for their work in 2016. They had already played the December 2016 Nobel Peace Prize Concert at Telenor Arena, and in January 2017 their documentary Sammen om drømmen opened in 99 percent of Norway’s cinemas — a first for a Norwegian film. A book, Vår historie, and a TV documentary followed. By fifteen: a film, a book, three number-one albums, and the biggest prize in Norwegian music. Spellemannprisen Cineuropa

The Swedish gamble

Then came the move that changed the shape of the career. During the pandemic the brothers moved to Stockholm, around 2021, changing labels to Universal and taking on new management. In 2022 they won the second season of Sweden’s Masked Singer, the first duo ever to share first place. The twins have said Sweden holds a very special place in their hearts — and everything since has flowed from that. Eurovisionworld

Melodifestivalen was the real test. In 2023 they entered with “Air”, won their Lidköping heat with around 1.4 million votes, then finished second in the final with 138 points — 71 jury, 67 public — behind Loreen’s “Tattoo” (177). A year later “Unforgettable” won everything: the Karlstad heat, then the final on 9 March 2024 — first with juries (85) and televote (92), 177 points in total. The prize was Eurovision — representing Sweden, the host country, in Malmö. Melodifestivalen 2023 Eurovisionworld

On 11 May 2024 they opened the Eurovision grand final — running order number one — and finished ninth of twenty-five with 174 points, 125 from the juries and 49 from the televote. Ninth is not a win, but a top-ten finish at the biggest song contest on earth, singing for a country that was not on their passports. The album Unforgettable followed on 31 May 2024, peaking at a modest number 38 in Norway and 39 in Sweden — an audience that had moved from buying albums to streaming singles. What the streams actually say

Streaming is where the duo’s scale shows up most clearly, and it is also where the numbers need the most careful reading. Independent trackers put their Spotify total at roughly 931 million streams — Kworb counted 931,511,506 as of 24 July 2026 — with around one million monthly listeners and a peak of 4.6 million. Promoters round it up to “over a billion”; across all platforms, probably true — as a Spotify figure, not. Kworb

One song carries a disproportionate share of that total. “Elektrisk” has more than 128 million Spotify streams, and it was the first Norwegian-language song ever to pass 100 million streams on the platform. Behind it sit “Girls”, “Unforgettable” and “Heartbeat”, each in the tens of millions. Those are tracker figures, not label numbers — “around”, not exact. Avicii Arena

YouTube adds a smaller, separate stream of money. The channel has more than 1.1 million subscribers, and one estimator puts its lifetime ad revenue between $612,000 and $3.67 million, at roughly $7,200 a month recently. That is advertising revenue only — not total income, and emphatically not net worth — and the range says more about the method than the money. 2025 and 2026: a new album, a new home, a solo trophy

The fifth studio album, The Room, arrived on 14 November 2025 on Universal and Better Now Records, with tracks including “Sugar Rush” and “Endless Summer”. No chart positions have been recorded for it, and none will be invented here. What followed was television: season sixteen of TV 2’s Hver gang vi møtes, premiered 3 January 2026, with the twins alongside Espen Lind, Marit Larsen, Herborg Kråkevik, Synne Vo, Musti and André Jensen of Hagle, and a companion album released on 20 February 2026. Their Norwegian version of Marit Larsen’s “Don’t Save Me”, retitled “Ta meg tilbake”, was a talking point. Marcus & Martinus

The 2026 European tour began in Hamburg on 8 January, running through London, Paris, Vienna and Prague, with a one-night-only “The Room” concert at Oslo’s Unity Arena on 8 May 2026, Avicii Arena the next night, and a Tallinn date in August. New singles “Moonlight” (May) and “How You Know” (12 June) arrived along the way. At the end of 2025 the brothers moved again, to Trondheim — their home base now; anyone still writing that they live in Stockholm is a year out of date. Reported plans: studio work, a 2027 festival summer, a new European tour in early 2028. Ticketmaster

The year’s most unexpected trophy, though, belonged to one twin only. Martinus won the twentieth season of Sweden’s Let’s Dance on 9 October 2026, dancing with Paulina Rosenkvist to a perfect jury score and the most viewer votes, beating Lovisa “Laki” Karlsson in the final duel. Rosenkvist danced the final with a broken rib sustained three days earlier; Martinus had a bandaged knee. Marcus did not take part. A solo win — proof the twins’ shared fourteen-year career can also be measured one at a time. Metro Mode

The life around the music

Marcus has been in a relationship with Nora Fossland Gartland, a model and influencer, since August 2022, and in 2025 he confirmed that the two had moved in together. Martinus is reported as single, and neither brother is married and neither has children. Away from music, both brothers play football: Marcus, a left winger, joined Strindheim TF on 25 March 2026 after youth football with Grane IL and Mosjøen IL, and Martinus is listed at the same club. The fair summary: Marcus and Martinus Net Worth 2026

There is no reliable net worth figure for Marcus and Martinus — not combined and not individual. The best-known aggregator figure puts the duo together at $5–20 million, a range so wide it confesses its own guesswork, and the individual pages disagree with each other: Marcus is put at $1–3 million, about $3 million, or $5 million, depending on the page, and Martinus at $2–5 million. None of them shows its working or cites a filing, and a combined figure cannot be split in half to make two individual ones. Their business runs through a company, M&M Artists AS (organisation number 914 140 137), but no filed revenue or profit figure for the company could be verified, so none is printed here, and no endorsement deal has ever been publicly confirmed. What can be said is this: in the 2024 income year each brother earned just over 4.6 million kroner and held tax-assessed wealth of about five million — Marcus 5,149,204 kroner, Martinus 4,943,572 — after an income jump of several million from 2023. Their music has been streamed more than 900 million times on Spotify alone, their biggest song was the first Norwegian-language track to pass 100 million streams, and they filled arenas in two countries before twenty-five. None of that is a net worth — which is why the honest answer stays unconfirmed. TheCityCeleb Net Worth List
